Remembering

Scout Groups across the Richmondshire District attended services, parades and laid wreaths as part of Remembrance Day in their local communities. Also known as Armistice Day or Poppy Day, it is a day to recognise and remember the sacrifices of soldiers and civilians who died in wars and conflict.

The photos below show 1st Richmond Cubs assembling in Richmond Market Square and  taking part in wreath laying in Friary Gardens.
