Adult Volunteers

Scouting could not survive without volunteers.

You don’t have to be an adventurer like Bear Grylls to get involved in Scouting. Do you have first aid knowledge, are you good with numbers, handy in the kitchen or are you a DIY whizz? We all have useful skills and you can volunteer and help in many ways.

Volunteering for Scouting is one of the most fun, rewarding and positive things you can ever do. You can give as much or as little time as you like and we will match opportunities that fit your skills and time available. If you would like to have fun and make friends, earn professional qualifications and make a real difference to the lives of young people, please volunteer.

Richmondshire Scout District has a number of vacancies for uniformed and non-uniformed adults.

If you have got an interest in helping us out, then please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
